David P. Gross

David (Dave) Patrick Gross passed away June 27, 2014 at the age of 59 in Kingwood, Texas after a courageous fight with brain cancer. David was born July 27, 1954 in Redding, California to Jack Vincent Gross and Charlene Furlong Gross. David received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting at Oregon State University – Corvallis, and spent his professional career employed at Chevron Phillips for 37 years.

David spent many weekends volunteering at various Girl Scout and Boy Scout camps with his family. His hobbies included stained glass, reading, listening to music, archery and outdoor photography.

David is survived by his wife of 34 years Dianne Slater Gross, daughter Salinda Heitkamp (Randall Heitkamp), son James Gross, daughter by association Alaina Hanson (Chris Hanson) children Olivia and Baron, siblings John Gross (Karilyn Gross), Patricia Germond (Edward Germond), mother Charlene Furlong Gross, brother-in-law Roger Slater (Diana Slater), and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Jack Vincent Gross.
