

Born in 1961 in Bradenton, Florida, David graduated from Manatee High School in 1979. He served 5 years in the U.S. Coast Guard, before beginning his career in the Marine industry. He worked for Chris Craft and Regal Boats in Florida, before moving to Texas and entering the marine surveying field. He started his own business, Gulf Coast Marine Consultants, in the 1990s. David loved the outdoors, the water in particular. After moving to Kemah from Kingwood nearly two years ago, he and his son Brandon and many friends spent countless hours fishing and boating in the Gulf.
David is preceded in death by his beloved mother Carolyn Linzy, grandparents Bill and Elma Arrington, Lester Horne, and Lawrence and Georgia Belle Linzy. He is survived by his son Brandon of Kemah, TX; father Robert Linzy of Smithville, TN; twin brother Daniel Linzy of St. Petersburg, FL; sister Patricia Linzy of Castalian Springs, TN; niece Heather Linzy of St. Petersburg, FL; loving girlfriend Jenny Harrison of Houston, TX; Brandon's mother Crystale Strange of Kingwood, TX and a multitude of family and friends throughout the United States.
Family will receive friends from 5 pm to 8 pm, Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Kingwood Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Kingwood Funeral Chapel.
