Donald Andrew Brankin, born August 30, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois to Veronica and Thomas Brankin, died October 19, 2010 in Houston, Texas at the age of 60. Mr. Brankin served his country in the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam War era. He is survived by his wife, Mary Cook Brankin; daughter, Dawn Brankin Fusano (Robert); son, Paul Brankin (Brittany); sister, Pat Lathouwers and her husband, Cliff; grandchildren, Kylee, Logan, Peyton, Andrea, Hunter, and Elizabeth; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Monday, October 25, 2010 at Houston National Cemetery, Veterans Memorial Dr. in Houston with Military Honors provided by Randolph Air Force Base.
