

Francis Ross Galiano Jr. “Frank”, 50, was born to Alice and Francis Ross Galiano Sr. on August 23, 1962, in Kansas City, Missouri. On July 18, 2013, he passed from this life at his home amongst his loving family and circle of friends, after a courageous three-year fight against leukemia.
Surviving him are his wife of 22 years, Jana Danielle “Dani”; daughters Bailey Francis, 18, and Kennedy Reese, 16; parents Alice and Francis Ross Galiano Sr. of Beaumont; father and mother-in-law George and Francis Thompson of Beaumont; a sister, Anna Marie and her husband, John Edgar, of Sugar Land; niece Alyssa, nephews Jonathon and Christopher Edgar; and brother in law, Vince Thompson of Columbia, Missouri.
Growing up in Beaumont, Frank loved all sports and played baseball and soccer. He graduated from Monsignor Kelly High School and Lamar University with degrees in Finance and Accounting. He was the Chief Financial Officer of The Sprint Companies.
Family and friends have fond memories of Frank’s tenacity, his intelligence, gentle and quiet way, his humility and integrity, smile and wit. He took such great pride in his wife, daughters, family, friends and his work. Frank’s courage and strength throughout his battle with cancer has been an inspiration to many. His victory is in the substance of his pure love, his spirit and the legacy that shines through the lives of his daughters, wife, family and friends, today and through many tomorrows.
A visitation for Frank will take place on Sunday, July 21, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7:00 at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, Texas 77339.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by longtime friend and classmate Reverend Stephen McCrate on Monday, July 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martha Catholic Church, 4301 Woodridge Parkway, Porter, Texas 77365. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to M D Anderson Cancer Center, 1515 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, Texas 77030 or St. Martha Catholic Church.
