Glenda M. Poteet, 54, of Kingwood, TX, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2013. She was born on September 28, 1959. Glenda spent time as a bookkeeper, substitute teaching, and was a team mom for many teams. She was an animal lover. Most of all, Glenda was a loving wife and mother.
Glenda is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Bob Poteet, sons, Bob Poteet (Jessica) and Jason Poteet; mother, Kay Moore; siblings, Rena Heuszel, Pam Moore, Johnna Embrey, Jeff Newman and Jerri Fortenberry.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2013 at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, TX 77339. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2013 in the Chapel of Kingwood Funeral Home. A reception will follow.
