

Janet Patricia Smeriglio Christian 64, passed away Saturday March 4th 2017 at 10:30pm in her Kingwood, Texas home surrounded by her loved ones. She was a long time resident of 41 years she was employed in her 20 and 30's at Frolic Transportation as a secretary then later on she became a housewife, mother and grandmother.
She was born in Norwalk, CT to David and Francis Smeriglio on March 11, 1953 attended Brookfield High school in Brookfield, CT.
Janet was a people person with an awesome personality and was the life of the party. She enjoyed spending time with her big Italian family and friends, dancing to her country music and going to listen to live bands. She was also very talented and creative and loved crafts. Her favorite pastime was playing her Facebook games and talking with her friends on the phone for hours. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter and sister. She was very loving, caring, honest, and generous and touched so many lives and cared selflessly for many. She never met a stranger, always helping others in times of need without thinking twice, even welcoming them into her home to raise as one of her own, but mainly she helped her daughters the most. Her children and her grandchildren where her life.
She proceeded death by her brothers David and Anthony Smeriglio.
She was survived by her three daughters Nicole Ellis 38, Michelle Ellis 36 and Lisa Schroeder 26 her brothers Robert Smeriglio of Cleveland,TX and Mickey Smeriglio of and grandchildren Trevor, Marayah, Jamesy, Brooklin, Karah, Cooper And Aubrey also several nieces and nephews and family that loved and adore her. Not a day goes by that she won’t be missed dearly. However she would want us all to remember her life and not her death so please come join us in celebrating her life on Saturday April 1, 2017 at Kingwood Funeral Home.
