Jennifer Ann Stepp, 44, of Kingwood, Texas, peacefully passed away on March 1, 2024 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maureen Ann Stepp of Nederland, Texas and grandparents Betty and Bob Stepp of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Earnest Collins of Port Arthur, Texas. She is survived by her grandmother, Patricia Collins of Port Arthur Texas, father, Ronald Stepp of Humble, Texas, brother Brian Stepp of Humble, Texas, sister, Stacy Judkins and husband Brian of Kingwood, Texas, and her nephews Brock and Landon Judkins as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who were like family.
Jennifer was born on October 27, 1979 in Nederland, Texas. She was a graduate of the Class of 1998 of Nederland High School. Jennifer grew up participating in dance, soccer and softball in the community and was a Nederland Bulldog Westernaire. After high school she spent a semester at Blinn in College Station, but ultimately decided that the cosmetology industry was her calling. For over 20 years she worked as a color specialist at high-end salons in the Houston area where many would say she, "was one of the best". She loved making people feel beautiful while connecting with them on a personal level while in her chair. She later moved to Colorado where she adopted her beloved dog, Maxwell and they enjoyed hiking and swimming in the lakes. Shortly before her diagnosis she returned to Texas and later moved to be near her sister where she lived with Maxwell and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was always the most stylish one in the room and loved all things fashion. Her kind and generous spirit established many friendships and she was blessed to be loved by so many who called her their best friend.
