I met Kathy at the Lake Houston Ladies Club when she signed up for golf lessons. She quickly found that she loved the game of golf and became quite good at it. After the lessons we continued to golf together at Atascocita and also as a guest at Walden. We enjoyed each others company at our monthly luncheons discussing the books we had read. I admired her strength snd courage amidst the health battles she faced. She was always smiling! Rest In Peace my friend.

Kathy formed our Scrabble group that several of us greatly enjoyed. She was so hospitable to us in her lovely home.

Kathy called me about 8 months after I had been diagnosed with breast cancer to say she was part of "THE CLUB." We spent a lot of time laughing about our hair loss and could not understand why mine grew back and hers did not. She was a close friend in high school, and we recently re-connected with our shared medical issue. This year was to be our 50th anniversary graduation party from Clearfield High School, Class of 1971. I will always remember her for her infectious laugh and her love of life. We were born on the same day a month apart. I will miss you my friend. Love, Debbie Anderson (Walker)

Kathy was loved by so many members of the Lake Houston Ladies Club. Her beautiful spirit was shared with all of those who belonged to the many special interest groups that Kathy embraced. She helped us start a scrabble group that met twice a month where her fun competitive spirit was a joy to be around. Kathy also helped us start an art group that she dubbed "Artsy Smartsy" where met weekly to paint, draw or do other creative crafty stuff. She will be missed and fondly remembered any time we meet. She delighted in the golf lessons and outings sponsored by the group and joined in the fun at bunco events as well as many other club activities.
My personal condolences to her family whom she cherished. She was a beautiful lady, inside and out and she will be missed by all with nothing but warm memories.
