Kyle Joseph Mathews

Kyle, one of a set of triplet boys, was born on May 31st, 1990 in Gretna, Louisiana. Kyle resided in the greater New Orleans area until 2004. While in New Orleans, Kyle attended St. Rosalie Catholic Elementary School. He also was active in the Boy Scouts, achieving A Life Scout. He was an outstanding gymnast and baseball pitcher. In 2004 the family transferred to Kingwood, Texas. Kyle attended Kingwood High School, participating in football and track and field, before graduating in 2008. Kyle attended and graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering and worked various oilfield jobs. Kyle then started his own business, Kyreaux Solar. Kyle enjoyed cooking meals with his twin children as well as woodworking and the outdoors.

Kyle leaves behind his son, Kaden Mathews, and daughter, Kamille Mathews, both of Kingwood, Texas. He preceded his father, Jeffrey Mathews and stepmother, Arlene Mathews of Kingwood, Texas; and his mother, Diane Corwin and stepfather Don Corwin of Morgantown, West Virginia. He also leaves behind his sisters, Ashleigh Downey of Katy, Texas, and Kaitlyn Hunter and husband Michael Hunter of Angleton, Texas; triplet brothers, Jared Mathews and Logan Mathews, both of Houston, Texas; half-sister Alayna Corwin of Morgantown, West Virginia; stepbrother Eric Marchand of Spring, Texas and stepsister Shelley Marchand of Houston, Texas; and a host of other cousins, nephews and nieces, family and friends.

Kyle was a beloved son, brother, father and friend, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
