Laura Lynn Belue, 66, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on November 29, 2025, with a gentle smile on her face—one that reflected the joy she carried throughout her life. Born on April 30, 1959, in Houston, Texas, Laura grew up in Forest Cove, and spent her life pouring love, kindness, and Christ’s light into everyone she met.
Laura is survived by her children Todd Kristopher Rapa, Danielle Nicole Belue, and Danielle’s fiancé Salvador Torres; her beloved grandchildren Kloe, Parker, Ayden, Troy, Trace, Noah, Leli, Camila, and Evelyn; and her biological siblings Randy Courtney (wife Tangee) and Angela Lamb (husband Kenon). She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Teddy Jo Beal, her biological mother Adel Shanks, and her adoptive brother Charles Beal.
Laura lived a life rich with joy and purpose. She loved to worship, sing, and attend church, finding deep fulfillment in her faith. She treasured time with her children and grandchildren, and she shared countless cozy moments with her dog, Sandy on the couch. Laura had a spirit of adventure—she enjoyed traveling, riding horses, watching and playing sports, spending time with friends, and indulging in chick flicks and Hallmark movies. She loved eating at La Casita, and she had a special passion for taking photos, especially of beautiful flowers.
As a nurse, Laura devoted many years to lovingly caring for MaryaJose from the time she was 18 months old until she turned 21—an example of Laura’s lifelong dedication to serving others.
Laura was joyful, positive, and endlessly loving. Her smile was infectious, and she never met a stranger. She saw people the way Christ does and constantly looked for opportunities to brighten someone’s day. Her life was a reflection of God’s love, and she carried that love into every room she walked into.
Laura was a believer, and today there is no doubt she is in Heaven—dancing, worshipping, and celebrating at Jesus’ feet.
Her legacy of faith, joy, and compassion will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
