Marguerite Ellen Moore, 97, of Kingwood, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014. She was born on September 3, 1917 in Oil City, Louisiana to Isaac and Beulah Pitts. She was a teacher with the Pasadena ISD for 39 years.
Marguerite is survived by her daughter, Lynda Dorsett (Randall); grandchildren, Randa Gross, Heather LaBorde (Larry) and Trey Moore (Deanne); great-grandchildren, Chandler Gross, Ryan LaBorde and Avery LaBorde. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Moore, Sr.; son, Ted Moore, Jr.; granddaughter, Ava Petrocelli.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, TX 77339. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Kingwood United Methodist Church, 1799 Woodland Hills Dr., Kingwood, TX 77339. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, TX.
