Robert was born January 24, 1960, in San Antonio, Texas, to Starlin Litton Jr. and Carolyn Ravena Daugherty. He graduated from Milby High School and went on to build a long and respected career in the elevator industry, working for Dover and ThyssenKrupp. Robert was an award-winning elevator mechanic and an avid golfer who took pride in both his work and his time on the course. Known as the life of the party, he was an excellent leader, a loving father and grandfather, and someone who could bring laughter and light to any room he entered.
Robert was preceded in death by his son, Nathan, and his siblings, Steve, Rick, and Marcie. He is survived by his children, Zach, Katie, Joe, and Savannah; his grandchildren, Alexa, Bella, Asher, and Addison; his siblings, Sue and Maria; and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Robert will be remembered for his fun, goofy spirit and the joy he brought to those around him. Let’s all come together and remember the beautiful life and lasting impact of Robert Wayne “Slim” Litton.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 12th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the chapel of Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, Texas 77339.”
