

Ronald Homer Biddle (age 73), having resided in Dayton, TX for the past 22 years (with a recent move to Kingwood, TX) is now residing in Heaven. At 2:37am, on September 4, 2011 Ron took his last breath surrounded by family at home after a year long struggle with Lung Cancer. He passed away peacefully and with no pain.
He was born on Oct 12, 1937 in Palatka, FL, the son of late Homer Monroe Biddle and Gertrude Mable Hogeboom. He was one of five siblings. Older brother Dick residing in Eustis, FL, younger brother Charles residing in Palatka, FL, a twin brother Donald residing in Maricopa, AZ and a sister Pat Smith residing in Palatka, FL. He was married to Nancy L. Holbrook on June 20, 1959 in Wausau, Wisconsin.
He served in the United States Air Force for 26 years earning the rank of chief master sergeant, plus numerous commendation medals for meritorious services. He served our country in Madison, Wisconsin; Valdosta, Georgia; Thule, Greenland; Lincoln, Nebraska; Little Rock, Arkansas; Ubon, Thailand; Phoenix, Arizona; and Lubbock, TX.
He loved his grandchildren, golfing, fishing and woodworking. He is survived by his wife Nancy, son and daughter-in-law John and Mary Jane Biddle of Baytown, TX, daughter and son-in-law Reneé and Jeff Battenberg of Kingwood, TX; grandchildren Jurgen and Robin Biddle of Baytown, TX and Skye and Chancellor Battenberg of Kingwood, TX.
A viewing will be held at Kingwood Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6 - 8pm Sept 8th. Services will be held at Kingwood Funeral Home (22800 Hwy 59 N Kingwood, TX 77339) on Friday, September 9 at 8:30am followed by a processional to the Houston National Cemetery, where he will be given a full military service.
