Teddy Carl McMullen, Sr., 61, of Splendora, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2013. He was born on July 25, 1952 in Joplin, Missouri. Teddy was a smart man who loved to read, especially about history. He enjoyed going to the horse tracks, visiting the casinos and betting on football games with his family. Most of all, Teddy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend.
Teddy was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Phyllis Cato; sister, Debbie Myers. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Darlene McMullen; children, Charlotte Darlene McMullen and Teddy “Bo” Carl McMullen, Jr.; grandchildren, Tyler Gates, Brittany Hill, Trevor McMullen (Vanessa), Angel McMullen (Jonathan), Noah McMullen and Dylan McMullen; great-grandchildren, Kaydence Gates, Bryce Yates and Kiley Yates; siblings, Kenneth McMullen, Steven McMullen and Tammy McMullen; best friend, Betty Currier. Teddy is also survived by all of his favorite nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, TX 77339.
