

Born in Macon, Georgia, to James Daniely and Essie Franklin, Thelma dedicated her life to learning and teaching. She earned her Bachelor of Education degree from Morris Brown College and served as a passionate and committed teacher for over 30 years, positively impacting the lives of countless students.
In 1961, Thelma married Roy Williams with whom she shared a loving marriage until his passing. Together, they raised two sons, Roy Williams Jr (deceased) and Ronald S. Williams. Thelma and Roy traveled extensively, enjoying a life filled with discovery, adventure, and companionship.
Thelma's greatest joys came from spending time with her family and friends. Her warmth, wisdom, and kindness were felt by all who knew her, and her legacy lives on through her loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Williams, and her son, Roy Williams Jr.
She is lovingly survived by her son, Ronald S. Williams (Debra), along with a host of devoted nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who continue to honor her memory.
Thelma D. Williams lived a long and meaningful life marked by service, strength, and love. Her spirit remains a guiding light to all who were blessed to know her.
A visitation for Thelma will be held Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, TX 77339.
