Valerie Annette Wendel Appleton

Valerie Annette Appleton was born September 25, 1972 in Fort Walton Beach Florida and passed away March 10, 2014 in New Caney Texas. She lived most of her life in South Texas until she moved to the Houston area in 2001.

She enjoyed crafting, watching her children's extra curricular activities, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She is survived by her children Kristen Brown of New Caney Texas, and Logan Appleton of Conroe Texas, her mother Charlotte and step-father Benjamin Oaks of Crosby Texas, her father Lawrence Wendel of Missouri, her sister Angela and husband Daniel Welch of Woodville Texas, sister Lauren and husband Jason Wells of Crosby Texas, sister Melinda and husband Tim Allain of Jacksonville Florida, and sister Bridgette Wendel of Warrensburg Missouri. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Harley, Cole and Keegan Welch, Alexis and Kacey Wells, Toby Allain, and Elizabeth & Alexander Herron.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Henry and Irma Beyer, and paternal grandparents Clem and Pearl Wendel.

A memorial service will be held at Kingwood Funeral home Friday March 14, 2014 at 2:00 P.M.
