Vickie J. Maclies, born June 8, 1955 to Johnnie and Constantine Barnes in Ft. Hood, Texas, passed away May 14, 2010 in Kingwood, Texas at the age of 54.Vickie graduated from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education where she was a member of AKA Sorority. She received her Masters Degree from Texas A&M, Prairie View. Vickie taught in the Aldine I.S.D. for 32 years as a Special Education Teacher and Director of the Enrichment Program at Goodman Elementary School. She was a member of “Jack & Jill”, Humble branch for many years. Visitation will be 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday, May 21, 2010 at Kingwood Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M.
