William Edward Crain

Funeral services for William Edward Crain, 67, of Kingwood, Texas, will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Hwy 59 N., Kingwood, Texas. Visitation and a reception will be held two hours prior to the service, from 11:00am-1:00pm. Graveside services are currently pending in Wiggins Cemetery in Carthage, Mississippi.

Mr. Crain was born on December 30, 1954 in Savannah, Georgia to parents, John William and Ina Louise (Rector) Crain and passed away on June 17, 2022 in Kingwood.

Mr. Crain enjoyed auto racing and pro football. He worked as an engineer and steel detailer for over 40 years.

He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Lisa Murphy Crain; mother, Ina Crain of Kingwood; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Rudy Perez of Kingwood; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Eric Agre of Spring; son, Steve Crain of Cypress; nine grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Crain.
