You will be deeply missed around Forest Heights. Thank you for stopping and talking with me two years ago on my lunch supervisions. I’m grateful for our conversations and getting to see how much you impacted those around you.

I knew Aaron from highschool, he was such a kind hearted and caring person. He always put a smile on my face anytime I’d see him or talk to him. I remember the first time I ever met him, he offered me a chocolate and talked to me as if we were friends for years already! He was such a fun person to be around and anytime we would talk it would instantly brighten my day. Thank you Aaron for all the happiness you brought to everyone, you will forever be missed.

Aaron, to me you were the best cousin. You took care of us when we slept over and took us places like to get bubble tea, walked us to the park or to the store. Anytime we were hungry you fixed something for us to eat and you were always a great role model towards us. You were a very humorous, kind and caring cousin and I’m very sad I didn’t get a lot of time to spend with you. I will always love and remember you.  - Kaiden

I didn't know Aaron personally but I did know he was a kind and happy person. I would always see his bright head full of pink hair across the hall and I always wanted to be friends with him. I still remember the one time in grade nine I was sitting alone on the bus and Aaron had asked me if he could sit with me. I said yes because it was no big deal. I was a pretty awkward kid but Aaron still created conversation and I remember having a nice chat with him. He also offered timbits when we were working in lotus society.  It was so shocking when I heard the news. We're all going to miss you Aaron.

It was an absolute honor to teach Aaron in the 11th grade. He brought an incredible warmth, light, and love into our classroom every single day. I happened to be pregnant that year, and I will never forget how Aaron constantly looked out for me—always making sure I was fed, comfortable, and taken care of. He had a natural, fierce instinct to protect and care for the people around him.

Aaron’s profound empathy would have made him an extraordinary nurse, and I was so incredibly happy for him to move to Toronto to pursue his studies. The world has truly lost a bright light, because Aaron was meant to heal and help so many people. He will be deeply missed.

I taught Aaron grade 9 Business. He had such a bubbly personality and the most contagious laugh. He truly cared for everyone around him. Throughout his years at FHCI, Aaron would always acknowledge me in the hallways. Every morning as I entered the school he would be sure to say hi. Aaron, you will be truly missed. Condolences to Aaron's friends and family.

this was a year after you were born. 

we all loved you so much. this breaks my heart so so bad. youll always be our baby cousin. youll always hold such a special spot in my heart and life.  waking up without you is hard. it was such a pleasure growing up along side you and it sucks that i cant see you grow in your next chapter. thank you for always being you and never changing. thank you for our talks, our laughs and all the damn good memories.  you are such a beautiful soul. you were more than a cousin. you were my friend. i was always so happy to see you and go out with. your laugh was contagious. your light filled the room no matter what. ill come back and write to you again when im not such a mess but aaron i love you and miss you so deeply. i am so proud of who you are each and every day. you were an amazing cousin, and friend. youll always be there when we go out whether its to the city, or to get food or icecream, youll be  looking over us. thank you for putting me on to the pineapple dole whip.

i thought about you while i went to classes today, and how quiet the hallways feel without you. i can hear the buzzing of the led lights, and the footsteps that used to be so quiet. my spare feels empty knowing you will not be there to talk to me anymore first thing in the morning, and you will not be there to ask me to go to the plaza. i feel very sad that i will not get to experience your hugs anymore, or your daily check ins. you really were a blessing in my life, one that i really needed. my mind keeps going back to grade 10 spanish class, where we sat together everyday. we got so much closer back then. you got so good at your spanish!! i am so proud of you. you are my cousin on my latino side forever. i remember making gum wrapper hearts and doodling on our notes. you told me three weeks ago you hoped you’d always have me as your friend, and that i changed your perspective on life. i hope you knew you changed mine too, more than i ever could yours. te quiero aaron, and i will always miss you deeply.

Man I don't even know where to begin. You were one of if not my closest cousin who I would even consider a brother. I mean we grew up together and you were there by my side for majority of our childhood. I remember us in Vietnam being glued to our iPads and playing our mobile games together like brawl stars and BTD. I know we haven't been able to see each other as much these past couple years due to other factors, but even then you didn't let that gap change our relationship. I can remember every time going to your house, you would walk downstairs and greet me the same as always like nothing changed between us which is one of many reasons why I loved you. Throughout these past months I thought things were finally changing, I got to see you more often and we even went out to eat food together like sushi with my older sister. I can remember the day you told me the news about you getting into U of T and how lit up your face was, you were so excited about starting a new chapter of your life.  Then I woke up, went to class and received the terrible news that you were gone. I couldn't even fathom the fact that you left until I walked in that hospital room and realized the worse had come. That day I stared into the air and just thought of all the memories flooding my brain, hell I even stepped out and went into a bathroom to breakdown a little. I truly wished I was there more for you back then, but I'm so glad I got to grow up with such a kind soul. I hate the fact that you're making me cry like a b**** balling my eyes out and I can just picture you making fun of me for doing so, but that's just how much you meant to me. I'm sorry for this sloppy mess of text, you deserved better but I was never good at writing so this the best you're getting. I have so much more to say about you that wouldn't fit,  but for now may you rest, and may we meet again some other time.  

To everyone else, I'm glad he's had a positive impact on you, thanks for being their for him when I wasn't.

Aaron,

I had the pleasure of teaching you in Grade 11 physics. You were a kind, respectful, and honest young man. I always appreciated your honesty — I still vividly remember you telling me straight up that you hated physics, but really liked me as a teacher. That always made me smile.

You were so involved in our school community and always willing to go the extra mile to make the people around you happy. Just last week, I remember the two of us awkwardly pushing a cart with a sticky wheel across the other side of the school so you could hand out spring rolls and drinks to teachers and students.

Reading the posts here shows just how many lives you touched and the impact you had on the people around you. You were taken from us far too soon, but the impact you had on everyone around you will last forever.

"Aaron, you were the best cousin to me, you took care of everyone in the family and made sure we ate. Anytime we were a bit hungry you made sure we ate. Anytime we were bored you made us come with you to the grocery store. I’m so sad I did not get to spend enough time with you. I will always love and remember you." Love, Nathan

There’s so much to talk about when it comes to Aaron. He’s funny, bubbly, silly, and a beautiful soul. I even share the same last name with him (sometimes I made jokes that we were cousins). He’s someone who is unforgettable and continuously kind to everyone surrounding him. Now, I hate to even talk about him using past tenses because in my mind, he’s still with us. 

Aaron has always been a sweet and gentle soul, saying hi to everybody and anyone he meets. I was one of the many people he encountered during grade 3 - 6 in Viet school. I was new to the program yet Aaron welcomed me with open arms when I was crying since everyone who went there never liked doing Saturday school. But he changed that. He would always play with me during breaks and when I didn’t have a lunch, he would give me some of his crackers so I wasn’t hungry. He was always a generous soul.

After the pandemic, we lost touch until the summer after grade 9. I did summer school in person for careers and civics, and I saw someone who had a familiar face…it was Aaron! We hung out everyday at break during summer school and most days we would walk to circle k. I remember one time I bought him a cookie and he told me it was the best cookie he had (even though he was joking).

After summer school ended, we continued to keep in touch and hangout once in a while in the summer when we were free. We even planned to see each other soon since we’ve been busy to graduate soon.

Aaron, I miss you deeply and I wish we got Ice Cream 2 when you were craving it the most during the hot weather. I’ll miss our daily calls during the week even if we just sit there in silence.  I’ll miss you forever and I’ll continue to hang up the painting you did last summer.

Many people will say Aaron has passed yet he’s still alive in my heart and in all our hearts. His care and compassion will live with us continuously and that part of him will never fade away.

Aaron, you will always be loved and remembered be loved and remembered.

We did Feel Good Friday in our class every Friday. Each student got a turn once during the year to receive "feel good" messages from  their classmates. This was Aaron's week

I had the great fortune of being one of Aaron's elementary school teachers (Grade 5). In reading through all of the memories and stories shared here, it is clear that Aaron touched and left an impact on everyone he met and who was lucky enough to know him. 

When you met Aaron, it didn't take long for you to realize that you were in the presence of someone very special. He was consistently full of positive energy, kindness, humour, playfulness, and generosity. He was a hardworking, dedicated student who was well-liked by everyone - staff and students alike - because of his ability to make everyone feel safe and welcome or to make them laugh or smile. I remember his creativity, his neat penmanship, how much he loved chicken, how I called him "A-a-Ron",  how he had so many quick one-liners and witty responses. His sense of humour was amazing! I have kept a record of quotes students have said over the years that made me laugh. I revisited it tonight and found some Aaron gems.

There is not enough space to adequately express the impact that knowing and teaching Aaron had on me. It was so impressive to see someone so true to themselves at such a young age.  He was always so full of life and warmth and positivity. He was rarely without a smile - and he had many different kinds of smiles - from his mischievous smile to his toothy grin, to his everyday friendly smile. 

I am at a loss for words processing that he is gone. He was such a brilliant, bright light in this world. Based on reading some of these memories, I don't think it was possible for anyone to ever have a bad thing about him. He was just so pure of heart and so full of thoughtfulness and kindness for those around him. 

Thank you, Aaron, for blessing the lives of all who were lucky enough to know you in any capacity. We are all better for having known you, and you will never be forgotten.

I am still in shock from this devastating news and it will take a while for me to accept the reality. Aaron you were my favourite nephew and you've told me I was your favourite aunt (shhh I won't tell the others!) Reading all of your teachers and friends memories of you is so touching and is a true testament of who you were and how loved you were. You touched so many lives and you really cared about your friends and family and always wanted to make everyone happy. My kids (Kaiden, Nathan and Chloe) really adored and loved you and enjoyed hanging out with you every weekend. I will miss taking you thrifting or going out to eat. I had plans to attend your graduation and my last words to you were "we are going to get together and celebrate before you move away to University." You were such a big part of mine and my children's lives and we will miss you deeply. Thank you to everyone who's shared your kind and loving words about Aaron. Tomorrow is not promised, so hold your loved ones close. Rest in peace Double A Ron, this is not goodbye, this is farewell. You will always hold a special place in my heart.

I first learned about Aaron in middle school through his cousin, and before we left to different schools he told me his cousin Aaron was going to Forest like me, I didn't think much of it but I would see Aaron from time to time in the halls, always laughing and smiling with a group of friends. I truly regret not taking more time to get to know him because he really was one of the most generous people I've ever met and I only really knew him for less than a year and he was able to have such a positive effect on my life in short time. I can see how many people were affected positively by Aaron and it makes me grateful for the time I had with him.

To Aaron's family, I'm so sorry for your loss and I hope you can find comfort knowing that Aaron was more than the best person a human can be.

Aaron, you were the sweetest person I've ever met. You always had this energy that was so comforting. Back in grade 10 when you would make me come play games with you in history, the conversations in the morning before class, whenever I baked something new or the random TIM's runs we had just to get a bagel. Whenever I saw you, you always had something nice to say or you would just make my day a bit brighter just by being you. I will miss you a lot. I remember you saying "thank you for being so nice to me" and how could I not because you were the sweetest soul. You brought me so much happiness in ways you didn't even know. You were such a big part of bringing me close to people I will always cherish.
I will always miss you and always remember you.  I hope you're happiest where ever you are and I will always hold you in my heart.

Aaron was a great friend of mine. He was always so supportive, kind, generous and with his smarts he had the brightest future ahead of him. I don't cry often but hearing what happened I've been sobbing uncontrollably for my friend. When i was going through the worst time of my life at school Aaron was one of the only people who was there for me. Even after me moving schools he made sure we stayed close. He had a pure heart that saw the good in others and I hope in turn everyone saw the good in him. I miss grabbing bagels in the morning, I miss hanging out during spare, I miss our talks and I will terribly miss you Aaron. You were gone way too soon and I could never forget you or the impact you had in my life. I wish I could've said all this to you when you were here. I love you very much, take care my sweet angel, and I give my condolences. <3

Aaron was one of the kindest most cheerful people I knew. He made my day brighter by saying hi in the halls at school or hyping me up no matter what I was doing. Even after I graduated, he made sure to check in and text me. I remember giving him all of my math notes from the year and when I told him how hard university calculus is, he offered them back in an instant saying that I needed them more. He was so incredibly selfless and supportive. I look back at our texts and can’t help but smile. He will forever be missed and I’m incredibly grateful for the memories I have with him.

I had the privilege of teaching Aaron last year during my very first placement in Teachers College, and from the moment I met him, it was clear how special he was. Aaron never failed to light up that classroom. He had a way of making those around him smile, and his presence could brighten even the toughest days.

Since returning to Forest Heights as a teacher, I would often run into Aaron in the halls, and he would always stop to chat with me. Those small conversations always meant so much and were a reminder of the genuine warmth and positivity he carried with him everywhere he went.

Thank you, Aaron, for being such a wonderful person and for leaving such a lasting impact on so many people. You will be deeply and dearly missed.

I was one of your favourite teachers, and you were one of my favourite students — that will never change.

I met you in Grade 9. You were looking for a can opener to open the soup you had brought for lunch.  It seemed like just a funny moment, but that was the start of it. We connected that day, and over the years you have brightened so many of my days.

There are so many memories from the last four years — so many times you popped by just to say hello. You were there for me, and I was there for you. I will carry those moments with me always.

You  were a bright light in the halls of FHCI. You brought kindness, encouragement, and smiles to so many people around you. Your presence mattered deeply, and your absence is being felt by many.

I had the privilege of teaching Aaron in English class for two semesters, and I am deeply saddened by this loss. When I think of Aaron, I can’t help but think about the way he made the people around him feel welcomed and appreciated, as well as his smiles. Aaron had many types of smiles. He had a joyful, friendly smile that was contagious, but my favourite was his more mischievous smile whenever he had something funny to say. I will hold on to those joyful memories.

Last week, Aaron gave me a coin to buy from the multicultural stand, and when I said I'd grab change from my office to pay him back, he insisted I pay it forward.  His kindness and beautiful soul was always on full display. He never passed by me without a wave, hello or quick catch up.  He lit up the halls with his smile, and always made me laugh. His humility wouldn't allow him to see how special he really was. It was a blessing to share time with him.  Rest in peace, Aaron. You will always be remembered fondly 💖

Back in grade 10 Spanish class was so quiet and awkward, but when Aaron transferred to my class he really made a positive impact in my life. He introduced me to his friends, made me laugh when I was stressing about grades, always puts a smile on my face every time I walked into that classroom. I can’t thank you enough. Aaron will always be remembered as a loving bubbly person. Rest easy, Aaron.

Aaron was such a positive light and presence at our school FHCI. 
He was so well liked by our staff and student body alike. He had an infectious smile and personality, he was always bringing those around him up and contributed so much to our school's happiness. 
I'll miss seeing Aaron each day in the hallways and I'll certainly miss his enthusiasm. He was a ray of sunshine.

Aaron loved our Family Studies classes, and our department truly loved having him as part of them. His favourite classes were labs days when we'd be cooking in the kitchens.  He was such a joy to teach and connect with over the past years. Before I  personally taught Aaron, he got to know me, and my name, and would always say hello to me;  that was just the type of person Aaron was; a kind, bright light.  Aaron would always arrive to class with a big smile on and he had a contagious laugh.  Along with that, he was incredibly dedicated to his studies and always put care and effort into his work.

Aaron and I had recently been talking about his upcoming move to Toronto, and I was so excited for this next chapter in his life. Everyone was so proud of him for getting into his dream University. 
Aaron’s place in our Grade 12 Nutrition class, and within our Family Studies department will always hold a special place in my heart. He is deeply missed by so many.  Rest in peace, Aaron.

Aaron, you were my cousin, but with our age difference I felt more like an uncle to you, and that's part of why this hurts the way it does. I'm absolutely devastated and really struggling with the thought that I won't get to see you grow up. You had so much life ahead of you. I know I'm feeling what a lot of people are feeling right now. It shouldn't be this way. An uncle shouldn't have to experience his nephew passing, or parents their son, or a grandma her grandchild. Your absence has sent ripples through this family that will be felt forever.

Even though I didn't get to say goodbye, I'm so grateful I got to see you last weekend. I've replayed it a hundred times by now. You pulled up the driveway in your new bright red Mazda and then it started sliding back because you forgot to put it in park. I'm assuming you were just that excited — to see me, to share that you got into UofT for neuroscience, or to show off the new car haha. Then you went in for a fist bump while I went in for a handshake, and instead of laughing it off I committed and turned it into a lesson on the importance of a firm handshake, when really I was just covering up the awkward mismatch lol. And then I remember fixing a dent in your "new" car with a toilet plunger. Grateful I have that memory to play back in my head. Tbh, all my memories of you are like that. Just fun, sincere, goofy moments, because that's who you were. I'm going to miss getting those updates from you. To you, I was someone who would listen. To me, you were my nephew sharing your life experience with me.

Reading the messages from your friends has shown me a whole side of you outside of family, and I'm truly in awe of who you were and the impact you had on so many lives. It gives me this sense of warmth, because you were genuinely an amazing human being.

It was a pleasure to watch you grow up. And even though I'm devastated and it feels unfair, I am so happy and so proud of the person you became while you were here.

It was such a Joy to be Aaron's art teacher in grade 9! His enthusiasm for people, for his artwork and for the classroom community was such a highlight each day. Aaron's authentic kindness and genuine care for the people around him, both students and teachers will be me forever missed. I got to giggle and dance with Aaron in the hallways of FHCI for 4 wonderful years and I am so grateful for that time. Thank you Aaron for your endlessly enthusiastic spirit, your quick wit and your generous heart.

I met Aaron through French class, and he was the kindest person I have met. He was so funny and made everybody in the room smile. We are all going to miss him, and I am so sorry this happened.

Aaron has a really beautiful smile. I remember when I first met him, he was such an energetic person. Even though we didn't talk much, he still gave me some kind of energy while being around him. Thank you Aaron and rest in peace.

Aaron was a mutual friend of mine, we met through Becky. I remember talking to him online, and his kindness and bright personality still shined through the phone. You could tell just by looking at him that he was such a pure person, with the biggest heart. 

I remember during school volleyball season when my school was playing against forest heights. I recall seeing him in that hot gym, giving me a hug with the biggest smile on his face. That was the first time I had seen him in person again since Viet school. He noticed that I was sweating, then proceeded to ask me if I wanted to use his laminated periodic table to fan myself. Even that small interaction alone told me enough about how kind he was, even towards people he didn’t know very well.

I am sending my deepest condolences to his family, friends, and everyone who loves him. May you rest in peace Aaron.

I was one of Aaron's teachers.  I am heartbroken by the loss of Aaron.  He was sweet and kind.  He was funny and caring and so much fun.  Aaron was so very thoughtful, always trying to bring joy to the people he cared about.  He was loved very much.  
My thoughts are with his family and friends at this very sad time.

This picture was taken by Aaron himself on my phone in science. I had no idea that he took a whole series of photos and I remember coming home that day, finding the photos, and smiling. I had just come back from online school and I didn’t know anybody but I did know him, and he treated me like we had never drifted apart . I will never forget that.

I met Aaron in elementary school. He was so bubbly and always put himself out there, I was stunned when I first met him. 

He was constantly there for me during my lowest points and never stopped trying to make me smile, even when that wasn’t what I thought I needed at the time. He always knew how to cheer me up whether I liked it or not.

I remember staying up so late on call with him countless times while we played Roblox and other embarrassing games that I won’t out him on (you’re welcome, Aaron). We laughed so much together and I will miss hearing his voice. 

I am so sorry that I didn’t put as much effort into our friendship in high school as he did. 

Rest peacefully, you were and still are loved deeply.

I met Aaron a couple months ago through volunteering at the hospital but he quickly became one of my best friends. From the moment I met him, he had truly changed my life for the better. 

He had the kindest heart and the most pure soul. He always knew how to make me laugh and feel loved even when I was struggling. He cared so deeply for his friends and had so much love to give. His presence in my life made me a better person. 

My favourite memory  of Aaron is when we first met and went through all the emotions because we over shared our entire life in the span of 4 hours. It felt like I had known Aaron forever and he understood me better than anyone.

Aaron was one of the first few people I met when I moved to a new high school in grade 10. He was in my Spanish class and I vividly remember the first time he came up to me and introduced himself. He was so bubbly, full of life and kind-hearted. His smile could brighten up a gloomy day, his jokes were very funny, and his hugs felt so safe. Aaron was one of a kind and he will be deeply missed.

To Aaron’s family, my heart breaks for your loss. Holding your family close in my thoughts and prayers.

Aaron was one of the most genuine and kind hearted souls I have ever met. He never failed to make people laugh or lift others up. He was a light that shined so brightly.

I met Aaron during one of the lowest points in my life, and he helped me in so many ways, especially through the laughter and joy he brought. Thank you for making such an impact on my life and the lives of so many others, and for helping make my high school experience so special.

Aaron, we met in 9th grade arguing in a comment section of Becky’s post and I remember telling her you seemed cool (despite the circumstances). Little did I know it was going to lead me to having the pleasure of being your friend for 4 years. You were such an outspoken person, you seemed to be untouchable, and despite others words trying to bring you down, you never gave them the power of changing who you were. I admired that about you. You always stayed true to yourself even in the highest highs and lowest lows. Aaron you had a kind of energy I’ve never seen in anyone before, having the power to touch so many hearts and connect with so many people was truly your super power. 

Our many days of playing silly roblox games, calling for hours, eating pizza in the rain under the tunnel by our houses are memories I’ll forever hold onto. I wish I was more grateful and had the boldness to tell you this. Despite us drifting apart over the recent years I am so thankful to be able to call you my friend. Aaron, I’m so sorry, I hope you know how loved you are and how much you will be missed.

As a parent, I can't imagine what you are going through right now.   
Aaron was an amazing young man from the first time I met him when my daughter and Aaron started JK together.  I can remember him waiting at the path behind Williamsburg for Bre.  He would wave and say have an amazing day and of they would go holding hands ready to start the day.   

You will be missed Aaron by your peers and you had a huge impact on alot of people.   Rest my dear knowing you were very loved.

Aaron has been one of my closest friends. When I first saw you in summer school in grade 9, I couldn’t help but want to be friends with you so bad because you just looked so cool. And then that one day in summer school when you asked me if I liked K-pop, I was so happy because I was like, “yes, this is where we are gonna start being friends, because he's literarily so cool.” Fast forward to now, you were my gossip buddy, you knew me through and through, and vice versa. And when I heard the news, I tried calling you and texting you because I thought this was an awful prank. I still remember the day I told you I was moving away, and how much we talked that night on call. And now, just last week, we were telling each other which university we were gonna go to, and how excited you were, and how I was so happy for this new chapter. You’ve been one of the best friends I’ve ever had, telling each other about almost anything and everything. You were always so cheerful, funny, kind, and selfless. I could tell you anything and everything. Words could never put how much of an amazing person you we're. I’ll forever be grateful for the last 4 years of knowing you and the memories we created along the way.

Love you forever, Aaron. Missing you more than ever.

Aaron and I lived across the street from each other for almost our entire lives. From elementary school to middle school, we maybe spoke a total of ten times. It wasn’t until high school, where he invited me to dye his hair out of the blue, we became inseparable. I saw Aaron so often to the point my parents banned us from hanging out… 

Aaron, I am forever grateful for the moments we shared. You were the most gentle and generous person ever and always found a way to lighten the mood, whether it was with your kindness or laughter. Through thick and thin, you stayed by my side, being my biggest supporter. You have such a special place in my heart. I love you so much and I hope you rest peacefully.

Please, take this as a reminder to  love your friends and family as tomorrow is not certain.

I met Aaron in our grade 9 art class. I remember during that time, I was struggling to make friends or even talk to people, but Aaron was one of the few people who approached me with a warm smile. His personality truly touches your soul and leaves every room in laughter. He knew exactly how to put a smile on a person's face, and that is what made him so unique and completely himself. He was always outgoing, cheerful, and friendly with others. People loved him, and he continued to be an amazing friend and person to everyone.
I will always remember all of the memories we had, including our long conversations, our laughter, and our endless stories. He was one of the most hardworking and determined people I have ever met. Despite his own struggles with his mental health, he never let that stop him from spreading his positivity to others. Aaron will forever be in my heart, and may his soul rest in peace.

Aaron was a special soul, he always cared about everyone and always had that bright smile on his face. He always made gifts, and helped out when I needed it, he was always there for everyone and I hope he knows how much he was loved. He was one of the sweetest people I knew in High school. Though we didn’t know each other that well we still had good laughs, good memories and good times. I know you’re smiling down on us.  We will see each other again 🫶🏻

Aaron was one of the warmest souls I’ve ever met. He was unapologetically himself and had such an untouchable confidence. In high school, he made me laugh almost every day when I passed him in the halls just by being the outgoing person he was. I’ll always appreciate him for making my days a little brighter. Even after I graduated, he continued to make me smile and laugh with his funny (and sometimes random) instagram stories. I’m definitely going to miss the food he would post too because it always looked soooo delicious. Aaron touched so many hearts and I was so excited to watch him get out of high school and excel in university. I’m very sorry for your loss. He was beautiful inside and out.

I moved around a lot, I’ve been to four high schools, met a lot of different people and went to the same school as you.
 For just one semester you changed so many of my perspectives on people, you always had something kind to say, always so bubbly and put everyone else in a good mood without even forcing it and I am so thankful and glad I got to meet you and become what had been an amazing mutual friendship. 
You were loved by so many while you moved us all and inspired us all to be better, we will miss you.

This feels so unreal. Like what do you mean I’m not gonna see you in English class anymore? What do you mean I won’t get to laugh with you in class or hear your jokes again? Just thinking about it makes me sick.
I still can’t believe what I heard this morning. I was literally expecting to see you in second period for our book clubs, but finding out you wouldn’t be there broke me. I still don’t even know how to process any of this.
I hope everyone who loved you, or was waiting to see you this morning like I was, finds healing somehow. Aaron, I’m sorry if I wasn’t there for you when you needed support. I’ll always love you. You truly were one of the most beautiful souls I’ve ever known.

Aaron, to say you are the life of the party would be an understatement. As many others have already said, there is nobody in the world more approachable and friendly, and that’s why this loss is felt so heavily. Having you in JLC was a great honour, and I thank you for all of your contributions and kindness. I will always cherish the chances I got to speak with you, even if it was just for quick moments at a time. Thank you for making the world a brighter place with every laugh you shared with friends, your friendship will be felt forever.

I knew you for very little to even compare to the rest of the people here, but even in that time, you were so nice, kind, and friendly to me. All I can think about is your presence in my every day, and how empty class feels without you, knowing I'll never see you again. 
Your strength to show up on days when it was so hard, we saw you, your determination to keep going, and yet showing such brightness to others despite it all.
I wish I had known you better, to have helped you somehow because you have truly impacted a lot of us, more than you realized. 
I will always have the little things to remember, you sharing your fancy pens and highlighters with me, giving me yummy treats, and just that smile and wave in English class.

When I first came to Canada, Aaron was my first friend. We’ve been friends since Grade 6. He was always one of my biggest supporters and such a kind and funny person. We shared so many fun memories together, whether we were hanging out outside or spending time at his house. He always gave me huge hugs and reminded me how much he loved me. I’ll always be grateful for our friendship and the memories we made together. He will be deeply missed.

I had first met Aaron in grade 9 art with Mrs. Kloet. He had waved at me, and I completely ignored him LOL. I had no clue who this random guy was, and I thought he had mistaken me for someone else. The next day I remembered we met back in Vietnamese school in elementary, and I immediately went to go say hi to him. Little did I know I would have met someone who changed my life.

I truly have no words as of now. Aaron was nothing but sweet, generous, funny, and kind. If I could describe him in one word, it would be "selfless." He made me into a better person and helped me gain so many lifelong friends and opportunities. I will forever be in debt to him.

I first met Aaron in elementary school, and we instantly hit it off, he was one of my best friends for so many years, we would hang out every day. We grew especially close over quarantine, which was a really hard part of my life, but Aaron was one of the few people who genuinely cared and stuck with me. I can’t begin to explain the impact Aaron had on my life, Im just so grateful that I got to know him. I can’t imagine a life without Aaron because I don’t know a life without Aaron, I’ve known him since I was a child and Im just so devastated. I will forever cherish you as a friend and I love you.

I remember when I first moved to forest and how lonely I felt. Aaron was one of the first people to talk to me regularly and form a friendship with me. I will forever be grateful for you and all the times you’ve been there for me. your kindness will never go unseen, and your laughter will never be forgotten. through everything you’ve been through I truly hope your soul is at rest. no matter what terms we left off on, I will always care about you and will always consider you as my friend.

Aaron, you made my grade 11 and 12 years at forest so memorable and so full of laughter. I’ll never forget all of the times we’d hang out at break or spend time talking until you had to catch your bus at the end of the day, even then, you would open the window and yell out to us until it left. You’d always say the funniest stuff and do the goofiest things that made everyone around smile and laugh. So supportive and kind to everyone, rest easy🕊️💔

Aaron was such an amazing, inspiring and bright person. He lit the rooms he walked into, and traveled through life with such positivity it was contagious. He was a good friend to so many people, and I hope he knows just how important he was. I hope peace can be found, not only for him, but for his family.

Aaron, I've known you for around 5 years, ever since middle school. I remember how every morning when I came to school, you would run up to me and hug me with the biggest smile on your face. We used to play so many games together and call until we both fell asleep, it destroys me that I'll never be able to hear your voice and see your warm smile again. You've always been there for me, and I have and always will keep all the drawings, letters, and small gifts you've given me over the years. You were such a hard worker and you always tried your best at everything, you made everyone feel included and never failed to make people happy. Your energy was always so bright and positive, and your laugh and smile were always contagious. I can't believe you're gone, I love you so much, I will never ever forget you.

Aaron was a good friend of mine, and throughout the years I've known him he stood out to me in many ways. One time I was walking home from school and he needed money for a bus ticket to get home, I didnt have any coins on me however the bank was across the road, he refused saying it would take too much work but i insisted. The minimum I could pull out of the ATM was 5 dollars, more than enough. I slipped him the bill and he said that it was too much and that he can walk home. I told him its no worries and that his parents might worry. As I turn my back to walk home Aaron said "Youre a good person Adam" and I honestly never really heard that before, I was hard on myself at that time and it was something I really needed to hear. He was a good friend to me and I regret not hanging out with him more often. I gave him lots of advice on life and was there when he struggled and had an attempt on his life, he in return tried to help me find a girlfriend. Id like the parents and family to know they raised an exceptionally emotionally intelligent and great human, and that they did a good job. And I wish that all of Aaron's friends are doing well.

Aaron, I honestly can’t believe you’re gone. None of this feels real at all. You were genuinely such a kind, funny, and caring person, You always knew how to make people laugh and bring energy wherever you went, and that’s something I’ll never forget about you. Even though I didn’t know you as much as others did, every interaction and conversation I had with you was always positive and something I’ll always remember. Thank you for all the conversations, laughs, and little moments that didn’t seem important at the time but mean everything now. You were taken way too soon, and I wish things could’ve been different. My heart hurts for your family and everyone close to you right now. Rest easy Aaron. You were so loved and you’ll never ever be forgotten.

Aaron, when I first met you, I didn’t know what to think. I had never met someone so genuine and honest. Aaron, you were my first friend when I came to Forest. I remember in grade 9 when we first met in art class, you were so open and loving, never let me feel left out, and always cared for me like how I cared for you. I deeply appreciate our bond that we shared in physics, biology, art, and chemistry. I miss our conversations during physics and spare. I cannot believe you are truly gone, I still have my physics notebook where we used to draw on it whenever we were bored. I miss you so much, and I think about you all the time. You are never forgotten and are always in my heart. I wish we had taken more pictures together or hanged out more so I could hold onto those memories. I hope you rest in peace, and I love you so much.

aaron, where do i begin. i knew you for so long it feels like, although it was only 4 years. you were one of my first friends in highschool, and you’ve always been one to stick around. you were always my biggest supporter, and you were always very kind to me. your jokes and your laugh and the way we were able to talk about anything was always a very admirable trait of yours. you were always there for me when i needed you most, and you were an amazing friend, and person, to be around. anyone who had you in their life is very lucky to be able to call you their friend, acquaintance, or family. you were, and still are, one of my closest friends, and i hold you dearly to my heart. i will always cherish our memories of tennis, playing roblox until 1am, hot wok, trick or treating, going to the gym, long talks and our silly instagram reels and stickers. i love you gurt and ill miss you always, rest in peace.

Aaron, you were my best friend during elementary and middle school. You always made me laugh and encouraged me to come outside the house with you to cheer me up. I will always cherish the evening walks around the neighbourhood and the laughs we once shared. Thank you for calling me to wish me a Merry Christmas when no one else did. I am looking back at the Valentine's Day card you wrote me in Grade 4, and I can't stop staring at your writing. I am so sorry for everything and for not spending more time with you. I wish this were all a dream. I am so sorry for not doing anything sooner. I will never forget your humour, kindness and laughter. You always cared for others, putting others above yourself, even though we should have taken care of you. You were my best friend.

We will always remember you as someone who was there for everyone. You will be missed so much Aaron. Through all the classes and everything that we had, you made it fun to a different level. We all love you and miss you dearly.

My heart is so heavy hearing that you are really gone. You had the kindest soul and purest heart. You will be forever missed and forever loved. The mark you made on me and so many others will be everlasting. You cared so deeply about everyone’s major and minor accomplishments, I don’t think you know how much that has impacted me. Though I haven’t known you long, you touched my heart in so many amazing ways. I enjoyed all the classes we had together, and, although not many, all the amazing memories we have together. For the short period of time I knew you, you were such an amazing and kind person who really loved making friends and building relationships with those in your community, and I’m glad to say I was one of those people who you had such a positive impact on.

I've only known you for a year or two, but you left such a deep impression on me and always made my day brighter whenever we'd pass by in the halls or meet up every Monday for club meetings. I admired the way you radiated your energy and how you were so capable of handling serious topics like listening to me when I went through tough times. You were always so helpful and kind and I hope you never forget how much you were loved by everyone around you. I also still have the sketch you drew on my calculus homework because I thought it would be funny and nostalgic when I look at it years later, but now it makes me miss you even more. I'd like to think you would be somewhere by our side when graduation day comes :( My deepest condolences to family and friends.

I know i wasn’t that close to you, but every moment in foods class or online convos we would have is still precious to me, you are such a kind person and you got away too soon..i wish we could talk again, see your silly jokes and winks  when spotting you in the hallway..i hope you’re in a better place now, resting and maybe watching over us.
