Amelia Ozaruk

Left to mourn this wonderful and inspiring woman are her children, Susan (Phil Allen); Peter (Nancy); David (Tina); and Janet (Phil Bauer) and grandchildren Monica, Ryan, Alexandra, Laura, Alyssa, Nick and Lily. Predeceased by her sister Mary (1958) and her brother Walter (2008). Amy (nèe Hrynyshyn) enjoyed a long and happy marriage to Nick Ozaruk (2012). Amy was a proud graduate in Nursing, Hamilton General Hospital (1951) and a life-long Ti-Cats fan. Amy felt that life had been very kind to her. It was rich with experiences including camping in the early days, then cottaging, and traveling far afield plus regular stays in Florida. Amy had a gift for making friends wherever she went and keeping those friends close to her heart.

Amy's family recognizes that they are incredibly fortunate that mom's mind was sharp, her memory clear and her sense of humour intact right to the very end. In lieu of donations, Amy requests that "everyone just be kind to each other".

Friends and family will be received at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Sunday April 16th.
