Beloved wife and soulmate of Richard Fierling. Proud Mama of Benjamin and his wife Trina, Wendeline and her husband Steve, Russell and his wife Mallory, and Karlina and her partner John. Adoring Gawa to Tessa, Weston, Evangeline, and Ella. Cherished daughter-in-law of Myrtle Fierling. Predeceased by parents Weston and Donna Kaster, father-in-law Howard Fierling, and Gramma Edith Kaster. Dear sister of Karen Hamill and honorary sister Thelma Schroeder. Sister-in-law of Fred Fierling and Claire Vogelhut, Brian and Anna Fierling, Jim and Leslie Fierling, and Victoria and Tom Thornton. Long time friend of Louise Cober-Bauman and Mae Cober.

Bubzi made the world a better place; quietly, and sincerely. She put her loved ones wants and needs above her own, had a soft heart for the troubled and less fortunate, and her capacity for forgiveness and love were limitless. Barb was fiercely independent, strong, witty, playful, wise, artful, and intelligent far beyond her education. She was accepting of her flaws, carried a no-nonsense but quirky demeanor, and was never cruel. She handled a plethora of health challenges throughout her life with a graceful and fearless determination. Barb was ‘real’.

Cremation has taken place.
