Passed away peacefully on May 26, 2016, in her 88th year. Loving wife of the late Sylvester Kuiack (1987). Dearest mother of Diane (Robert) Astins and the late Joan Kuiack (2004) and Mary Kuiack in infancy. Grandmother "Nina" to Kyle. Sister of Len and Jean, Alfred and Dianne, Gertrude and the late Albert, Geraldine and Bruce, Marg and Jim, Lorne and Irene, Bill and Sandra and Clarence and Cathy. Dear sister-in-law of Marcy and Len Reist, Stella Shushack, Ben Kuiack, Greg Kuiack and Grace Kuiack. Predeceased by her parents John and Gertrude Kieffer and siblings Harold and Jerome and Agnes (both in childhood). Bernice was a long standing and active member of St. John's Catholic Woman's League.
Visitation will be held at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, on Sunday, May 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 30 at St. John's RC Church, 85 Strange Street.
