She is now reunited with her husband Jack Farthing and son Charles Farthing. Forever remembered and will be missed by her siblings Robert, Kenneth, Douglas, Bernard, Leonard, Patricia, Cindy and Charlene. She will be also dearly missed by her best friend, a man whom she considered her second son and he considered her his second mother, Joe Brito. Carmen is predeceased by her parents Walter Charles Wilson and Mary Gertrude (nee Gray), and her sisters Corrine and Diane.
Like a cat with many lives, Carmen was a fighter to the very end. She had many wonderful traits; she had a warm heart and helped anyone in need the best she could, and she was definitely someone who knew what she wanted and made sure to get it. Carmen you will be forever missed and always loved.
To honour Carmen's wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held. A very special thank you to the wonderful staff at Columbia Forest Long Term Home in Waterloo, Ontario for their professionalism, compassion and patience shown to Carmen.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in her honor to the Canadian Cancer Society.
