Cecile Laurin

Loving wife of Lucien (1995) and survived by her children Helen Doerfler, Jeannette Fredette, daughter-in-law Patricia Downey, Jacques , Gaetan (Gerrie Hanek), Madeleine (Richard) Martin. Loving Grandmother of 10 and Great-Grandmother of 11. Dear sister to Martha, Roger (Theresa), Georges (Mary) Lucien (Marguerite), Guy, Therese (Jacques) Renaud and Rita (Rolland) Ethier.

Predeceased by son Hubert (2011), daughter-in-law Yvette, brother Aime Coutu, and sisters-in-law Mary and Leota.

Cecile was an active member of St. Francis Parish and CWL. Her passion for sewing, knitting, and quilting benefited several charitable organizations. She was a meticulous gardener and loved her flowers. She will be missed by many family members and friends.

Family and Friends will be received for visitation at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener (Westmount Rd.) on Friday, September 14, 2012 from 2 -4 and 7 – 9 pm. A Mass For Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 49 Blueridge Rd., Kitchener, N2M 4E2 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Memory Gardens.
