Clinton Bechtel

Passed away, August 21, 2011 at Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge, Ontario. He was born in Wilmot Township 91 years ago, a son of the late Owen and Melissa Bechtel. Beloved husband of the late Hilda (Wagler)Bechtel who predeceased him September 11, 2005. Dear father of Doris and Graham Martin of Mitchell; Linda Worth of Waterloo; Joanne Jantzi and John Regier of Kitchener, Gordon Bechtel of Elmira and Ralph and Lorraine Bechtel of Kitchener. Remembered by brother Lloyd (Beatrice) and sisters Mary (Ken) Willsie and Avon Brophy, sister-in-law Bertie Bechtel, Elieen Hurst and Miriam Wagler, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by sisters Ruby, Elsie (Edwin Eby) brothers Leonard (Nora), Delford (Pearl), Eldon. Brother-in-law Joe Brophy. The family will receive friends at Fairview Mennonite Home, 515 Langs Dr. Cambridge Wednesday August 24, 2011 from 2-4 pm and at then at Westmount Funeral Home 7-9 pm. A private committal service will be held at the Mannheim Mennonite Church Cemetery. A service to celebrate Clint’s life will be held at the Mannheim Mennonite Church, 1494 Bleams Road (Ottawa St S. 1km west of Mannheim) on August 25, 2011 at 11 am. Pastor Ruth Laverty officiating.
