Dear Elvira, maybe you will read this…..we are so sad to hear this so late. I am a far related cousin from Germany. My mother is Erika Preiẞing, born Mantei, daughter of Willi and Olga Mantei. I am so sorry to hear of Dave's passing.  He was a wonderful supporter of Skills Ontario and I always enjoyed working with him at our Cardboard Boat Races, where he often volunteered as a judge.  He was a lovely man who I'm sure will be missed by many.  My thoughts are with his family.

I worked with Dave at Blacks at numerous locations. His knowledge was incredible and overwhelming at times. His humor was most welcomed on long boring night shifts, his laugh...oh that laugh was infectious. I learned a great deal from Dave and thought of him often when he left Blacks to do another adventure. I will think of Dave as he starts his ultimate adventure...soar high Dave!

My first RW Hook UP instructor at Arthur Ontario. Lean and Mean Skydiving Enthusiast and Mentor to those who wanted to learn the art of flight. Dave was safety conscious and exacting in his approach to skydiving and instilled  this wisdom with all who flew with him. Gods-Speed Dave and many thanks, a true comrad.

I am so sorry to hear about Dave's passing. I worked with Dave in Kitchener and Guelph at Black's and loved his sense of humour, and all that I learned from him. Always calm and pleasant. May happy memories sustain you, Elvira.

I had the privilege of working with Dave.  I knew precious little about the internet and Dave would try to enlighten me.  Oh Dave, if only you know how much help that was.  Enjoy your entry into your new life.

David was always pleasant, helpful, enthusiastic, and smiling. Add to that his incredible knowledge of the Web. I missed him first when he moved on from Blacks. Prayers are going out for his wife and family.

Al and I are sooo sorry to hear the loss of Dave .He was always so full of life and fun to be with. He was one who would never let any thing get in this wasy of the things he loved to do . He will be dearly missed , Our thoughts and prayer are with you Elvie and your family at this time , god bless .

Dave and I had worked at Stanley Park Mall together in the early 80's.  We had many mutual friends and connected through Mike and others.  He always had a smile and good things to say, it was a pleasure to have known him.  My condolences to Elvira and Susanne.  I can only wish you peace through your faith, friendships and family. Dave and I worked together at Blacks Cameras in 1985/86. His smiling face made every day a little better. I was a great asset and a real team player helping the store achieve prize winning goals. 
  I cherish those days and the memories I have. My condolences to everyone that will miss his infectious smile

So sorry for your loss. Dave had a huge impact on my early skydiving years. I will miss him.
