Beloved husband of the late Bernice Herbert. Dear father of Emerald Pemberton, Janice Muzine (Lenyn), Desmond Claxton, Raymond Herbert, Yvette Bassett (Larry), and Jacinth Herbert. Also remembered by his grandchildren: Dr. Sheldon Herbert, MD, Malcolm Bassett, David Pemberton, Xavier Pemberton, Emery Pemberton, Raja Pemberton, Deon Herbert, Jamila Herbert, Euen Herbert-Small, Jamalje Muzine, Desron Claxton, Desmone Gambrell-Claxton, Julian Rae, Derian Manville, Jay Northcott, Justine Steinhauer, Shemar Herbert, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Desmond’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa Street South, Kitchener (519-743-8900) on January 10, 2023 from 6 – 8pm. The funeral service will be held on January 11, 2023 at 11am in the chapel at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre. Interment to immediately follow at Williamsburg Cemetery (1541 Fischer-Hallman Road, Kitchener).
