Passed away at Grand River Hospital on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at the age of 66 years. Beloved wife of Jim Vandrick for nearly 46 years. Dear mother of Sandra Roberts (Ed) and Rob Vandrick (Jenny). Loving grandmother of Emily, Kaitlyn, and Connor. Dear sister of Bea Weber (Fred), Joe Kocher, and Marilyn Kurt (Jim). Predeceased by her parents Alex and Florence (nee Biesinger) Kocher.
Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and spent her career working for many years as an R.P.N. at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener. Friends will be received at Westmount Funeral Chapel, on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm, where the funeral liturgy will be held in the chapel on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 11:30 am. Cremation will follow.
