Edna Minnie Snowden Hagedorn

Passed away peacefully, on Friday, December 30, 2011, at the Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, at the age of 80.

Loving mother of Brian (Doreen), Vickie (Robert), and Steve (Patricia), cherished grandmother of Joshua, Adam, Kristen (Curtis), Kelly, Rob Jr. (Kayla), Carla, Candice, Amber (Josh) and Brittany, proud great grandmother of Logan, Chelsea, and Jake. She will be greatly missed by her sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews, and fondly remembered by all those who knew her.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Howard in 2008.

Edna farmed in Plattsville, babysat for 25 years, caring for many children in her home, and was a very active member of her churches, first St. James Lutheran in Baden, then St. James Lutheran in Mannheim and finally Faith Lutheran Church in Kitchener.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa Street South (at Westmount Rd.), Kitchener, on Monday, January 2nd, 2012 from 7 until 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 247 Westmount Road E, Kitchener.
