Betty passed away very peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, June 2nd. She is deeply missed by Stan, her devoted husband of 64 years. During her final days in ICU at St. Mary’s Hospital, she was surrounded by her children Keith (Luba) and family, Bruce (Christine) and family, Liz (Steve) and family, Morag from Calgary, Neil from Kelowna, Heather (family) and Craig (family).
Betty was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, immigrating to Canada in 1950 with her husband and Keith. Betty loved cooking, volunteering, dancing, helping others, and singing in the church choir. After retirement Betty enjoyed travelling world wide with her husband and friends.
Cremation has already taken place. A memorial service at Knox (Galt) Presbyterian Church will be announced at a later date.
