Dear Joey, Jesse and Jade,
 I was totally heartbroken 💔 when I heard the news. Liz and I worked together and shared allot of our hardships and laughter together  and had allot in common. We spent valuable time having dinners and a few drinks with our good friend Marlene Nicholas.  She was kind, loving and loved her children in which she spoke so very highly about. I am very great full to have been part of her life and will cherish those memories. Liz, you will be missed my friend.  You can now be a peace and watch over your children as there guardian angel. Joey, Jesse and Jade I hope you find peace and healing ❤️‍🩹 with the great memories you have with your mom. Remember she LOVED YOU VERY MUCH! ❤️🙏🏻  😇

Although short lived, I was lucky to have met Liz.  Liz was smart, funny and sweet.  My deepest sympathies go out to her friends and family at this time.

Liz and I were colleagues for many years. She was kind and outgoing, with a smile and laughter that resonated with everyone around her. Liz was fiercely loving and proud of her daughter and sons, and spoke about them often. 
She will be missed dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with Liz’s loved ones as they navigate through this heartbreaking loss.

I have just heard this devastingly sad news.  Liz and I were inseparable as teenagers, I spent everyday with her, and helped her when Joey-lee was born ...  As young mothers together her boys and my daughter would play together.  I even lived in part of her house when her and Scott lived on Mill street.  She was my strengh so many times as we were growing up, she stood beside me as a bridesmaid when I got married.  This spring when she talked about renting the cottage, I contacted her and was going to rent it in July.  I was not able to make it, and now I am finding out this very sad news, and to know I was so close to seeing her again.  Joey, Jesse, Jade,  I loved your mom, we had not seen each other in so long..but she was a very special person to me.  I am so sorry for your loss, I am sending you my deepest sympathies.

While I didn’t know my step brothers’ mom very well, I know she was so very loved. I do recall meeting her on  the driveway in front of her house when I was a kid, when my mom and Scott were going to see Jade and Jesse - she was very kind to me. ♥️ Corona and I are deeply sorry for the loss of such a sweet and caring person and send all the warm thoughts we can (and Corona hugs). 

We are deeply saddened to learn about Liz's passing.  My heart goes out to you and your family during this difficult time. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Liz was there for me during a particularly difficult time in my life, and I will always appreciate that. Others gravitated to her, perhaps because of her warm and youthful fun-loving nature, which is a wonderful example to follow in times of adversity, as well as times of plenty. I will miss her dearly.

I met Liz at the Coping Centre 5 years ago. Our widow's group,  'Bravehearts' became good friends and supported each other through our grief journey, sharing in joys and sorrows. I feel blessed to have known Liz . She was a brave, kind and adventurous spirit. So very sad that she was not able to get the help she needed. Love you Liz. May your soul find peace.  Xo 

Three years ago when I went to Canada I had the opportunity to spend a day with Liz. It was a special family day and I feel grateful that I could know her in person and enjoy her kind company.  Rest in peace dear cousin. 

Liz was the best neighbour and dear friend for nearly 20 years.  She was there for me when Lynn passed and such a huge support, bringing me meals that her and her mom made. We had Sunday morning coffee together for several years,  sharing many laughs and lots of tears.
I remember the earlier years when Jesse and Jade would party on the roof of Liz's house and Liz would just chuckle when I'd tell her about it. She could always be seen using power tools and equipment and was very handy doing her own renovations. She once told me "I'm not your typical girly girl." I thought she was pretty cool driving dirt bikes and ATVs.
I'm grateful to Liz for introducing me to her friend Jean. Liz had a good heart. I will really miss you Liz.

I met Liz 5 years ago in a bereavement group. I knew early on that I wanted to be friends with her. We had a connection and soon became close friends. In our new “Bravehearts” group, Liz and I became known as the “troublemakers’, the rascals, we were always together, sharing a room, driving together, even sharing a cocktail. We had so many laughs and long talks. We looked out for each other, we shared deep secrets, we loved each other.
Liz introduced me to my new partner, Greg, her past neighbour and friend. Greg’s previous partner, Lynn, had been a close friend of Liz’s and Liz just had a feeling we were good for each other.
Liz will forever hold a special place in my heart. She has had such an impact on my life in just 5 short years.
I love you Liz, I will miss you my Friend 💔
