Passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026 at WRHN @ Chicopee in his 92nd year predeceased by his beloved wife Bonnie Blundon. Both loved to reminisce about their humble beginnings on the East Coast and spent many happy years travelling the country in their camper van.
Fred will be lovingly remembered by his son Steve (Margaret), his step-son Donald Dean (Linda) and son-in-law David Cottington. He is predeceased by his daughter Janet Cottington and his siblings Viola, Stanley, Alonzo, John, David and Walter.
Beloved grandfather to Hannah, Myah, Ryan, Jennifer and Adam. Fred will be greatly missed by his extended family and survived by brother Frank and sisters Bernice and Edie.
Many thanks to those who helped take care of him later in life and to those who made him comfortable in his final hours.
Visitation will be held at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. South on Monday, March 23, 2026 from 10:00 - 10:45 am.
Burial to follow at Memory Gardens, Breslau.
