Georgette Anne Moore

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Georgette Moore (née Chiarelli) at Royal Rose Place in Welland on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at the age of 98. Georgette was born in Renfrew, Ontario on September 25, 1926.

Mrs. Moore was predeceased by her husband Thomas Moore, her parents Tobias and Martha Chiarelli, her brothers Jack (Cecilia), Ernie (Isabel) Chiarelli, and in-laws Stanley (Mabel), Albert (Sheila), Arthur (Dorothy) and Elaine (Robert) .

She is survived by her 2 loving sons, Michael (Solange) and Gary (Nora), grandchildren Shawn, Cindy, Stacy, Michele, Jaime, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Moore was a nursing graduate of the St. Joseph's Academy in Renfrew. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary devoting all of her time as a volunteer for several years.

She loved to read, solving crossword puzzles, writing letters, entertaining, cooking, baking, golfing and spending her later winters in Florida. She touched everyone's heart with her kindness, devotion and loyalty.

Cremation has taken place. Georgette’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Saturday, May 31, 2025, where the memorial service will be held in the chapel at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. George Moore officiating.
