Passed away peacefully with his family at his side at Forest Heights Long Term Care on Sunday November 18, 2012 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Forwell). Loving father to Gary Schnarr (Sharon), Reg Schnarr (Karen), Sandra Schnarr (Eldon), Judith Schnarr and Daryl Schnarr (Darlene). Cherished grandfather to Jacey Webster (Ryan), Brad Schnarr (Jamie), Rob Schnarr, Bruce Pellar, Jenny Toor, Steve Schnarr, Alyssa Bauer, Ryan Bauer, Kate Piotrowski, Zack Schnarr and Calli Schnarr. Will be lovingly remembered by 5 great-grandchildren. Dear brother to Rueben (Anne), LaVern (Yvonne) and dear brother in law to Rita. Predeceased by his brothers Tony and Cyril and sister Beatrice. He was the keeper of Schnarr’s Market in St. Clements for 25 years and will be fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched. In keeping with “Skip’s” wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mark’s R.C Church, 55 Driftwood, Kitchener, on Thursday November 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Committal Service at Parkview Cemetery to follow.
