Passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital on Monday, February 22, 2016, at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of Leona for 63 years. Dear father of Gail Wise (Wayne), Jerry (Debbie), Kim Swindells (Bob), and Randy (Valerie). Loving grandfather to 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Judy Adams. Predeceased by his daughter Sheree Shippet Sloan (1996).
Jerry’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Thursday, February 25, 2016, from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Friday, February 26, 2016, from 10:00 – 10:45 am, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am, with Brianne Jourdin officiating.
