Ismael Rodriguez-Saavedra

Passed away, surrounded by his loving family, at home on Monday, August 15, 2016, at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of Margarita Roa De Rodriguez. Dear father of Dalis (Alvaro), Robel, Mery, Mary (Luis), Maryury, Viviana (Larry), Johana, Fernando (Nhora), and Lina (Efrain). Loved grandfather of Monica, Alexandra, Rossana, Nadia, Leonardo, Luisa, Leidy, Diego, Camilo, Valery, Laura, Camila, Valentina, Matthew and Nathan, and also remembered by his great grandchildren. Dear brother of Jaime and Ligia. Predeceased by his dear parents Lucila and Jose Gregorio, his brother Jose Luis, and sister Gladys. Ismael’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900) on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 7 – 9 pm. Visitation will continue at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1250 Strasburg Rd., Kitchener, on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, from 11:00 – 11:45 am, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 12:00 pm, with President Luis Palacios officiating. Cremation will follow. If desired, memorial donations would be appreciated to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre, 835 King St. W., Kitchener, ON N2G 1G3. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Elaine Bouttell, Dr. Matthew Kilmurry, Dr. Mohamed Husien, and all the nurses of the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre and 6th Floor at Grand River Hospital.
