It is with heavy hearts the family of Jim Milligan announce his passing at Chartwell Westmount LTC on January 27th 2021 at the age of 86. Contracting covid 19, Jim faced a battle he could not win. Jim leaves behind Jackie, his wife of over 60 years, three sons Rick (Valerie), Rob (Stephanie) and Mike (Julie), grandchildren Shelby, Sydney, Brooke, Brodie, Lucas and Danielle and extended grandchildren Nikki, Miles, Stephanie and one beloved great granddaughter Ryleigh. Jim spent most of his working career as a salesman for Bruce Edmeades Sales. He was actively involved in coaching minor hockey, as a leader in the Boy Scouts and as part of the team behind Brauns Bicycle Club. Jim and Jackie pursued a shared love of ballroom dancing and Jim played his 5 string banjo at many venues in the area. Jim was a family man, always there for those who needed him. He will be missed and always remembered, kept in the hearts of those who loved him. To honour Jim's wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
