Beloved wife for 67 years and love of her life, the late Roy Hilton (2021). Precious mother of Susan Hilton (Marty Mathieson) and the late Scott Hilton (1978). Adored by her fur-baby, Kobe. Also remembered by Step Grandchildren Daniel and Deanna and Great Grandchildren Penelope, Hailey, Everly and Carter, and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her brothers Earl, Murray, Archie and Ron, and her sisters Joyce and Donna.
In Jean's younger years, she enjoyed downhill skiing. She and her husband Roy did extensive travelling with friends to Europe and many other destinations. Jean and Roy enjoyed many winters in Florida at Magnolia Square. She also played cards Saturday night for 50+ years with her friends Shirley and Neil Pellar, playing Shanghai Rummy and Solo. Jean will also be remembered by her former work colleagues at the KW Real Estate Board.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for Jean will be held at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
