Passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2010, at the KW Health Centre of Grand River Hospital.
Beloved wife of the late Edwin (Ed) MacPherson (1987), loving grandmother of Geoffrey and Whitney MacPherson of Ancaster and Nathan (Christine) Tidridge of Carlisle, great-grandmother of Sophie, mother-in-law of Lynne MacPherson of Ancaster, sister of Sandy Pedersen of London and dear aunt of Glen, Jennifer, Jeffrey, and Ronnie.
Predeceased by her parents Cuthbert (Tup) and Nenome Ironside of Arva, her daughter Sharon (1981) and son (Jeffrey) Scott (1994).
She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all those who knew her.
At Joan’s request, cremation has taken place.
A memorial service to celebrate Joan’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 19th, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Forest Hill United Church, 121 Westmount Road East, Kitchener.
