It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joao Ferreira De Melo of Seaforth, Ontario who passed away peacefully at the age of 79.
Joao will be missed dearly by his beloved wife of 53 years, Maria. Loving father of Odete (Murray) and Fernando. Treasured grandfather to Tiffany and Christopher. Joao will be remembered for the beautiful music he played on his treasured mandolin and the wine he made using the grapes he grew by hand.
A visitation for Joao will be held Sunday, May 29, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa Street South, Kitchener. A funeral service will take place on Monday, May 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 1001 Ottawa Street South, Kitchener. An interment will follow at Williamsburg Cemetery.
