October 20, 1936 – March 13, 2026
Passed away on Friday March 13th in his 90th year.
He was the son of Joe and Marion Carter of Clinton, Ontario.
Ken was married to Dorothy Ann Carter (nee Johnston) for 65 years until she passed away on Christmas Day 2025.
He will be sadly missed by Cathy Larmond (George d. 2008), Chris Carter, Jeff Carter (Dayna) and Eli Carter-Morgan (Jen). He was greatly loved by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Ken was a high school English teacher working at the high school in Lion’s Head before moving to work at Eastwood CI, Galt CI and Bluevale CI. He was very involved in Drama, directing or producing plays or musicals almost every year. After retiring he taught Adult Education. He was very involved in Forest Hill United Church, chairing the Board several times, acting as a Trustee and singing in the choir. He also attended Waterloo Presbytery. Ken and Dorothy Ann both enjoyed singing with the KW Singers.
