Surrounded by family, passed away peacefully at Conestoga Lodge on Sunday, January 15th, in his 89th year. Beloved husband to Terese for 67 years, and much loved father of Patrick (Patricia), Joseph (Jane), Patricia Herman (Tom), Greg (Lynn), Barb (Ann Marie Fitzgerald) and John (Nancy). Joseph leaves precious memories with his grandchildren; Erin, Craig, Jennifer (Rob), Nicholas (Shelsea), Brendan, Elizabeth (Steve), Kathleen (Andrew), Joseph (Kristen), Julie (Scott), Jenny (Mohammed), Kyle (Nicole), Brad (Alisha), Jessica and Connor. Blessed by 16 great-grandchildren, he is lovingly remembered by many extended family members. Friends may call at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S. on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. Vigil prayers will be at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Church 148 Madison Ave. S. on Friday at 11:00 a.m., interment will be on Tuesday, January 24th at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery in Sarnia. In lieu of flowers donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated.
