Joseph John Vogel

He was predeceased by his wife Marnie (Wrightson), his parents Joseph and Teresia Vogel, sisters Terry Vogel, Alice Cash and Joni Karn, as well as his nephew Michael Cash. He is survived by his brothers Jim Vogel and Bob Vogel, and his sister Betty Ann Kidd. He was the oldest of 7 children, and uncle to his many nieces and nephews and their children, in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia.

Joe was born in Kitchener and lived in the area his whole life. He was a professional photographer, capturing special moments at many weddings and family occasions, as well as taking portraits and corporate photographs. He lived in the cities of Kitchener and New Hamburg and moved to University Gates in 2023.

In retirement, Joe took up the hobby of building and showing model cars, winning awards at various shows around the province. A lovely display of these models were admired by those who came to visit him.

Many thanks to the various staff and caregivers at University Gates for their help and kindness to Joe and his family during his final months. It is greatly appreciated.
