Oh my dear Lord, I just read about Katherine's passing and I'm so sad and greatly shocked!ng.  I remember her fondly, her gentle spirit, her spike for life and her happy laughter.  She was not only my dearest friend but like a mother to me.  She will be missed greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with her children.

I use to see Katherine going to the store and she always said hi and such a beautiful smile.   We joked once that she is Katherine with a K and I am Catherine with a C.  We will always remember this wonderful lady!

So sorry to hear of your Mom's death.  I have many wonderful memories of her ambition, her laughs and generousity when we were room mates during U of M days in Winnipeg. Thanks so much Kris for letting me know. I was thinking of you today and wish you all well. She will be missed.

I was so sorry to hear of your Mum's passing and please accept my deepest condolences. I am Bill Ostapovitch's (Holland,MB) youngest daughter Penny (a 1st cousin).  I think of the times we would stop in Dauphin at Aunt Mary and Uncle John's for a visit on the way to the farm in Theodore, Sask.  It was always nice to see Kathy as she was such a positive and fun girl.   Your Mum was a special person and will be missed by many.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.  May fond memories give you comfort.

You will be sadly missed by all.
It will be the little things that we will remember you by, the quiet moments we shared and the smiles and laughter from miles around, and the great ties at Tim Horton's for coffee. It's hard to say goodbye but we will always have memories to keep alive. Our deepest sympathy to her family in this difficult time.

My husband Bruce and I were with Kathy when she served for two years with CUSO in Jamaica (1964-66).  She'd often come and spend her weekends with us as we lived in the capital city.  We came to know her and love her and were always impressed her indomitable spirit.   We grieve to learn of the passing of this special lady and extend the prayers of our hearts to each you.

Dear Mike & Kris,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother.  Kathy and I shared an apartment in Winnipeg in 1968-9.  We had some wonderful times together.  A highlight was a trip to Mexico together where we visited a physiotherapy friend of hers.  We kept in touch as best we could and visited each other over the years.

She will be greatly missed.

My Letter to Katherine Tufford.....Dear Katherine , I am very sorry I never got to say goodbye.  But the memory of your smile will get me by.  All your kindness and generosity will never be forgotten.  I enjoyed all those card games we played at Timmies.... Cribbage and Rummy.

You came into my life when I least expected it and you left the same way.  I saw past the chair and into the life and heart of the very special person you were.  If only we had had more time to share each others company, yet GOD showed me that someone cared when he answered my prayer by sending you as my angel to walk by my side.

I will miss you dearly as the close friend you became not just to me but to others whose lives you have touched.  So from the bottom of my heart and with the fondest of memories and the deepest gratitude, rest in peace....Thank You Katherine, for being there.
