She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Randy (2010), whom she missed dearly. Loving and devoted mother to Greg, Cam (Dawn), Vicki (Darren) Inder, and Jeff (Amanda). Proud and cherished grandma to Taylor, Brian, Owen, Emily, Abigail, Samantha, and Colin, and great-grandma to Chloe and Emma, all of whom brought her immense joy.

Kathleen will be dearly missed by her siblings Wayne (Kathy) Dietrich, Alan (Bonnie) Dietrich, Arlene (Dan) Glofcheskie, Marianne Dietrich, and Michael Dietrich (Elaine Bouttell), as well as her sister-in-law Carol. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Shirley (née Merkle) Dietrich, and her brother Hal Dietrich.

Kathleen dedicated 38 years of service to Schneiders, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. Above all else, her family was everything to her. She found great happiness in cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays, and in her quiet moments, she lovingly crocheted slippers and blankets for those she cared about. Kathleen also treasured the friendships she built with her neighbours, who became like family over the years.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Tan and the nursing team for the love, compassion, and care shown to Kathleen.

Kathleen will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the love she shared so freely. In keeping with her wishes, she asked that those attending her service wear bright colours in celebration of her life, rather than black.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Cremation has taken place. Family will receive guests on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St., S., Kitchener for visitation from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. A memorial service will take place the following day at 11:00 am with visitation 1hr prior.
