Garry and Dianne. Send their deepest condolence to the family, Stella was a lovely lady, remember being in the play heavens gate and Health flames with her. We had a lot of fun, and it was always lovely to walk into freedom in Christ and she Laverne and his daughter Debbie playing the violin. Praise God they are now home with the Savior and together with each other forever.

To my dear friend Renee (Neenka) Hurst MacDonald,  and her family, I send my sincere condolences on LaVerne's death. Although I only met him a few times many years ago, he always seemed like a very nice gentleman and a gentle man as well. My thoughts are with you all at this sad time.

Though the world was a brighter place with Uncle Laverne in it , I'm sure Heaven is even more radiant since his arrival there.  Loving family and friends that went  before him were waiting with open arms to greet him. 
Though seperated by many miles through all these years our heart strings remained strongly connected from  our Canada family to our Florida family.  We loved it when health permitted and he and Aunt Stella were able to make it down for a visit. The sunshine and beauty of the beach enlightened their spirits and he would entertain us at dinner overlooking the beach, with his witty jokes and sense of humor.
His wise and gentle ways will be missed 
by all.

We are very saddened to hear of Laverne’s passing.  Laverne’s family in our prayers as we mourn the loss of a husband, father, grandfather, my cousin and a dear friend to many. Laverne will live long in the memory of those who knew him. Our Gazebo visits will also be missed.
Helen Keller penned “ What we once enjoyed, we never lose, All that we love deeply becomes a part of us”.

Aunt Stella and family .. we are so saddened to hear of the passing of Uncle LaVerne.  We as a family have so many great memories of time spent with him. Sorry we are unable to spend time with you all  today for the service but please know that your entire family is in our thoughts and prayers.  You will have a lifetime of memories  watching with his famous home movies!  Wonderful to know he is resting in the arms of his Father now! 

We remember and cherish the special times we shared as a family. The fun vacations at Wasaga Beach and the wonderful memories spent at the Fina Station in Bridgeport.  Laverne loved his family dearly and always was cheerful and supportive to all. He lived his life and shared the spirit of the Lord throughout all his encounters. He was an exemplary Christian and will be missed dearly. 



Sending my love and prayers to the whole family. I have so many memories of your dad & mom coming up to your cottage. They usually got a visit in with us ! Your dad was always loving ,kind and had a joyful spirit. Joking around all the time.  He will be missed here by all , but one day we  will be united again.    ❤️🙏

I will always remember your laugh and storytelling.   I remember you playing in the orchestra at the Doon church.  Thank you for all your love and support over the years.  So many good memories.

First, a huge thank you to the neighbours, PSW's and everyone else who helped over the past months, weeks and days. My family and I truly appreciate everything that you've done. I'm still in shock. My whole life, my grandpa was strong, and resilient. It's hard to believe that he's gone. He was a great man. A man of strong faith, who put family first, would always lend a hand, and had directions to everywhere. Rest easy, Grandpa. We love you.
