Woolner, Lyall – Born November 20th 1926, passed away peacefully January 23rd 2018 at Lanark Heights, Kitchener Ontario. Beloved husband of Ethel (Cressman) Woolner, 66 years married. Father of Bryan (Karen), Heather (Vern) Wideman and Jane (Doug) Hallman. Cherished and much loved by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Lyall is also survived by his only brother Ross (Jackie) Woolner, sisters Elaine (Terry) Fox, Ruth Schaus and sister-in-law Gladys Cressman. Predeceased by parents Vernon and Orpah (Shantz) Woolner, sister Myrtle Mae (in infancy), sister and brother-in-law Fern and Reverend Bob Duthie, brother-in-law Clayton Cressman, and father-in-law Omar and mother-in-law Maryanne Cressman. Visitation will be held at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S. Kitchener on Friday, January 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Lyall’s life will take place at 11 am on Saturday, January 27 at the Mannheim Mennonite Church, 1494 Bleams Rd, Petersburg.
