Beloved wife of the late Egbert “Brother D” Williams. Dear mother of Novlet Traenkler (Dieter). Loved grandmother of Angella Boothe, Donavon Boothe (Rosie), Tracey Keith (Kevin), Gary Boothe (Crystal), and Natalie Hopper (Paul), and great grandmother of Harrison, Jasmine, Georgia, Kierra, Chelsea, Madison, and Chantel and her brothers. Loved aunt of Hugh, Roy, Wayne, Marcia, Adjua, Karen, and Norma. Dear sister of Elizabeth, Icylin, and Jerrel. Predeceased by her parents Alexander and Clementine Easie, her sisters Melicent, Mabel, and Iris, and her brother James. Also remembered by Dennis and Mary King, Bob and Sheila, Evelyn, Debbie, and all of her friends from New Life Pentecostal Church and from Kitchener Church of God, and also all of the family members in Jamaica who could not attend the funeral. Maria will be fondly remembered by her dear friends she spent time with during her weekly quilting groups at the Rockway Centre, as well as her weekly volunteering at the downtown Kitchener Community Centre. Maria’s family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 9:00 – 9:45 a.m., where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Roger Combdon officiating. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery.
