Mark leaves behind his two daughters, Shayna (Chris) Lee and Brittany (Jamie Mate) Brinston, his best friend Donna Brinston, parents Art and Sandra Hammer, siblings Greg (Joan Nickerson) Hammer and Val (Mark) Holst and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Mark loved spending time with his family and friends, listening to music, watching a favourite movie and fishing. To honour Mark’s wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
A special thank you to the staff in ICU at Cambridge Memorial Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Mark and his family.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to The House of Friendship. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre.
Mark my dearest brother, best friend. I will miss you dearly. I'll love you always and forever. We’ll see each other again one day.
