She was the beloved wife of Fred, her devoted husband of nearly 60 years. The two were married in June of 1966 and shared a lifetime of memories together.
A dedicated registered nurse, Mary worked at St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener for over 30 years. Her caring nature extended beyond her patients—she was a true animal lover who never missed a chance to ask about someone’s pet, having shared many years with beloved animals of her own.
Mary and Fred shared a passion for travel, especially to the Islands, with Barbados being their favorite destination. In later years, they enjoyed time spent in Florida, where they built and maintained cherished lifelong friendships.
Known for her sharp wit and perfectly timed sarcastic one-liners, Mary brought joy and laughter to those around her.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
As per Mary's wishes, there will be no services.
